Finisterre Gated Community

F inisterre is one of the premier gated communities in Paradise Valley, just northeast of Camelback Mountain. “Finisterre” means “finite land.” This community is named after a location in northwest Spain where the land ends at the Bay of Biscay. Finisterre is also one of the largest gated communities in Paradise Valley. There are only two entrances: one from East McDonald Road (south entrance) and the other from East Lincoln Drive (north entrance). There are no less than 12 cul-de-sacs in this neighborhood, comprising the streets for some 50 residences. The main streets coursing through Finisterre are North 61st Place, East Naumann Drive, North Yucca Road, and East Huntress Drive. Each of the cul-de-sacs have their own designation.
